As a child, Elizabeth Swann, the governor's daughter, saved Will Turner from drowning after the shipwreck of his boat. Years have passed, Will and Elizabeth have grown up. Will has become a blacksmith in Port Royal, and Elizabeth is preparing to marry Commodore Norrington. However, Elizabeth's life takes a turn when Captain Barbossa and his band of pirates decide to attack Port Royal and take her hostage. Unfortunately for him, Barbossa has made two mistakes.
