Deception IV: Blood Ties

Like its predecessors, Deception IV: Blood Ties is an action/strategy game, where the main protagonist is the devil's daughter who, assisted by three demons, triumphs over her enemies through cunning. Deception IV allows you to follow the footsteps of Laegrinna as she fights her enemies by luring them into strategically placed traps. From rolling rocks to spiked walls, from spring boards to iron maidens, from cannons to falling bathtubs and banana peels, the player will face a multitude of traps, each more impressive, violent or comical than the last, in order to overcome their adversaries. But it's not enough to just place the traps, they also need to be activated at the right moment. Timing plays a very important role, as an untimely activation could cause Laegrinna to fall into her own trap or allow her enemies to catch up to her. Depending on how an enemy is killed or captured, the three handmaidens of the devil - Veruza, Caelea and Lilia, each representing a different aspect of cruelty: sadistic torment, elaborate death and humiliating defeat - score points and unlock improved traps. Players can stream their combos online. Other network features are available, including Ark rankings (score in a level), best times, etc., as well as the ability to stream and download user-created missions (Cross-Quests). The PlayStation Vita version has additional features, including the ability to use the touchscreen to select and activate traps.
