PlayStation VITA

The PlayStation Vita (PS Vita), launched in 2012, represents the eighth generation of portable consoles. Successor to the PSP, it stands out for its 5-inch OLED screen, a first for a portable console, offering stunning graphics. Equipped with a quad-core processor and a powerful GPU, the PS Vita offers performance comparable to that of home consoles. Its tactile LiveArea interface and innovative features such as motion sensors and front and rear cameras have opened up new gameplay possibilities. Despite a library of 650 games, including acclaimed titles such as Persona 4 Golden and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the PS Vita has not achieved the expected commercial success. Nevertheless, it remains appreciated by enthusiasts for its power and the quality of its games, marking an important step in the evolution of portable consoles.
