


Tropico 5 is a management game. As always in the series, this 5th installment once again allows you to embody a dictator on a tropical island in order to make it prosper. In addition to an even more advanced management than in the previous Tropicos, this new episode includes an online competitive multiplayer mode that can pit up to 4 players simultaneously, as well as a cooperative mode. Tropico 5 also introduces a Dynasty system that allows you to cover different eras, from colonization to modern times through World War II, thus covering several decades with the lineage of the very first dictator. A new graphics engine is also there to push the graphics and physics of Tropico 5 to new horizons. The dynasty Each member of the El Presidente family can be placed in strategic positions, gaining techniques and experience in these roles. Research and renovation Advance your nation by discovering new buildings, new technologies and resources. Transform your old buildings into modern structures worthy of an economic superpower. Advanced trade system Form a fleet and use your ships to export/import products from neighboring islands and key nations. Exploration of the island Discover what lies behind the fog of war by sending prospectors to search for new minerals and veins. Be careful, though, as these lands can prove to be hostile. A new artistic direction The visual identity of Tropico 5 has been reworked to give the title a unique graphic style. Competitive and cooperative multiplayer Up to 4 players can build their own cities and economies on any available island. They can then share resources and citizens or declare war on each other.
