The SEGA 32X was an add-on for the Genesis console released in late 1994. Intended to extend the lifespan of SEGA's 16-bit console in the face of the upcoming PlayStation and Saturn, this add-on plugged into the Mega Drive's cartridge port to provide additional processing power.
