It was one of the most traumatic events in video game history: in 1986, Princess Zelda was kidnapped and taken far from the land of Hyrule. Thus began the epic of Link, the young hero with a pure heart and pointed ears... Unfortunately for the princess, this crime was repeated more than a dozen times and the poor princess was the victim of successive kidnappings, forcing our brave Link to constantly traverse dark dungeons and face terrible monsters to finally save her.
But this time, everything will change in the brand new adventure called The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
For the very first time in the saga of The Legend of Zelda, an epic that has been unfolding for 23 years, Princess Zelda escapes the malevolent clutches of darkness and teams up with Link to live an incredible adventure. In this game, the spirit of Princess Zelda accompanies Link on his quest to save Hyrule, and this association has a direct and innovative impact on the gameplay. The spirit of Princess Zelda can inhabit and embody armors called "Phantoms", which allows the player to control both the hero and the armors to fight enemies, solve puzzles and discover fabulous secrets. Zelda also travels with Link on a train with a thousand faces and offers all her wisdom to reveal secret areas, advance the storyline or find new items.
As in the previous installment, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the entire adventure is fully playable with the stylus thanks to the touch screens of the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi. Move Link and the Phantoms with a simple stroke, take notes on the different maps. All the specificities of Nintendo's portable console are used to offer you simple and intuitive controls.
