150 Pokémon never seen before, new protagonists, an immense region to explore, a much darker story and new unprecedented ways to play and communicate with other players, the Pokémon role-playing game is reborn with Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version. For the first time in the history of the series, the two titles each have their own region to explore. But before reaching them, you will have to explore the Unova region, located a thousand leagues from Kanto and Johto, regions well known to fans. Another novelty, the seasons flow over time radically changing the landscapes of the game. Thus, some Pokémon appear more or less frequently depending on the season, and their color and shape can evolve. In addition, players can access particular areas when the season is conducive to exploration! As for the Pokémon, there are more than 150 new and completely original ones populating Unova, and some of them are exclusive to each version of the game. Two of these new Pokémon are legendary Pokémon, called Reshiram and Zekrom. Reshiram can set fire to everything around it and, according to legend, move the atmosphere, while Zekrom can generate electricity, fly and disappear in the middle of the clouds! Reshiram can only be caught in Pokémon Black Version, and Zekrom in Pokémon White Version. - At the beginning of the adventure, players have a choice between two new protagonists: a young boy or a young girl, both Pokémon Trainers, and both a little older than their predecessors. They will be offered by Professor Juniper a Pokémon among three starter Pokémon: Snivy of the Grass type, Tepig of the Fire type, and Oshawott of the Water type. This is how their long journey in the Unova region begins, accompanied by their two childhood friends! - In Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version, the player's mission is to complete a certain number of quests. The first is to complete the Unova Pokédex by finding and capturing all the Pokémon in the country, a task requiring a certain number of exchanges between the two versions of the game. The second quest is to become the Pokémon League Champion by battling the wild Pokémon and the Unova champions. Players must then train their Pokémon in the hope of one day facing the Elite Four and the great Champion of Unova! - You can improve your skills through the Random Encounter mode and thus face Trainers from around the world through the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
