Brilliant Stars, launched in February 2022, marks a significant evolution in the Sword & Shield series of the Pokémon trading card game. This expansion introduces the innovative concept of Pokémon VSTAR, evolving from Pokémon V and endowed with a powerful VSTAR ability that can be used once per game. With more than 170 new cards, including the iconic Arceus VSTAR and Charizard VSTAR, Brilliant Stars enriches the game with unprecedented strategic mechanics. The expansion is also distinguished by its Trainer Gallery, a sub-series of 30 cards featuring characters and Pokémon from the anime. This collection, combining gameplay innovation and refined aesthetics, offers collectors and players a rich experience, reflecting the constant evolution of the Pokémon universe.
