The 2018 McDonald's Pokémon card promotion marked the minds of collectors with its special editions. That year, two distinct collections were launched: a French collection of 40 cards and an American and European collection of 12 cards. The particularity of these series lies in their glittering holographic effects, called 'Reverse Confetti Holofoil', giving a unique and sparkling aspect to each card. The more extensive French collection featured a variety of Pokémon such as Leafeon, Charmander, or even regional variants like Alolan Sandshrew. The French mini-boosters contained 4 cards, including one holographic, offering an exciting discovery experience with each Happy Meal. This promotion contributed to enriching the collections of 80 unique cards, which have now become sought-after pieces by enthusiasts around the world.
