Ashman

As he puts an end (temporary) to his monumental Gunnm series, Yukito Kishiro embarks on writing a twilight gem with a more violent scenario than ever and black flats inspired by the work of Frank Miller. Ashman is what we call a spin-off, a story that takes place in the same universe as Gunnm, more particularly in the world of Motorball. Sven is a champion of this extreme sport, but his specialty is always to crash in the most spectacular way possible before reaching the finish line, to satisfy the urges of spectators avid for thrills. But in each race, Sven is haunted by the vision of a demented marathoner who rushes towards him before being pulverized. This re-edition of this great classic of manga offers a format closer to the original edition and an even more faithful adaptation.
