Casus Belli

Casus Belli is a French-language magazine created in 1980 dealing with role-playing games, wargames (in its early days), live-action role-playing games, internet games and the "culture of the imaginary". Depending on the periods, it was bimonthly or monthly, and was published until 1999, with 122 issues. The name of the magazine is derived from the Latin phrase "casus belli" and refers to the wargames that were predominant in the gaming sphere in its early days.
