With Republic, players will finally be able to take control of Hope, a young woman detained in Metamorphosis, a dark totalitarian state, led by the omnipresent Overseer. By hacking the government's secret surveillance network, the players and Hope begin a dangerous but thrilling journey to freedom. - Hacking - Throughout the game, Hope will need the player's help to guide and protect her by taking control of the network's peripherals and solving the puzzles that block her path. The player hacks security cameras, turns off lights, listens to communications, controls elevators and closes doors on Hope's pursuers.- Republic is not just an action and stealth game. The game system strengthens the relationship between Hope and the player, her protector. In addition to the main storyline, players can help Hope collect banned books, tapes and other objects that will accompany their immersion in this futuristic dystopian universe.- Republic was developed by industry veterans who have worked on AAA games like Metal Gear Solid, Halo, F.E.A.R. as well as videos like the Skyrim TV spot or the famous 'silhouette' iPod ads. Interactive developer comments will be available in the game itself.
