Among all the races of Elves, the Blacks are undoubtedly the most disturbing. Dark and silent killers shrouded in mystery, no one so far knew their origins. Whether they are born Blue, White, Green, Red or Gray, their true nature is revealed only after a few years... Gaw'er is a young hot-blooded Blue Elf. Long awakening the suspicions of his father, he is soon detected and kidnapped from his family to be taken to the Citadel of Slurce, the Fortress of the Dark Elves. Located in the distant Spine massif, this is where all the Dark Elves are taken and then educated as soon as they are spotted by the beaters. Gaw'yn, as he is baptized upon his arrival, then begins a long and painful apprenticeship to become a skilled and ruthless killer, perhaps the best of them all... But a strange noise is heard at night... a chilling and terrifying noise that will sow trouble in the young apprentice.
