Character biography: Long before becoming a Sensei, Tri-Tip wandered the Skylands in search of the mythical 'Traveling Walnut Tree', a tree that was rumored to never stay in the same place for long. After many years, he finally found the tree and, just before it disappeared again, he picked a golden nut: it was said that these fruits could reveal the meaning of life to those who opened them. But Tri-Tip was unable to crack the magical shell of the nut, despite all his efforts. He realized that only a weapon of great power could succeed. He forged an exceptional mace and trained with the greatest warriors to become a master. But the day he was finally ready to open the nut, he froze. He had just realized his true purpose in life, what the nut had taught him all along without even needing to open it. His goal in life was to use his skills to protect the Skylands. He gave the nut, without opening it, to one of his students and he joined the Skylanders.
