It is 1995 and the big return of Star Wars figurines, 10 years after the wave of toys from Return of the Jedi (Vintage Power of the Force). This series "The Power Of the Force", commonly called Power of the Force 2 (POTF2), starts with about fifteen rather implausible body-built figures, and the pill does not really go down well with the fans of the first hour (Princess Leia in particular will generate a lot of ink). HASBRO took over the historic KENNER Toys brand by buying it, but it is still the Kenner logo that appears on the packaging (for the last time). From 1997, the second wave is much more refined and the prominent muscles give way to much more realistic silhouettes. It is one of the most comprehensive series in the collection. It should be noted that several types of packaging have been published over time: orange card, green card, Freeze frames (with a slide) and other Comm-Tech have followed one another, until 1998 with the arrival of the very first figures from episode 1: Mace Windu and the Battle Droid on its STAP. The series will end with the CommTech collection in 2000.
