World of Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King

The main new features of this second expansion are: The first hero class: the death knight, capable of raising undead; A new continent: Northrend, which is translated as Northrend; New zones, dungeons, quests, items and monsters; The maximum level increases from 70 to 80, with new spells and talents; New battlegrounds, in which siege engines and flying war machines can be used to destroy certain buildings (Wintergrasp, Strand of the Ancients, Isle of Conquest); New character customization options, including new hairstyles; A new profession that allows you to improve spells: calligraphy; New factions like the Kirin Tor and the Oracles; New Raids accessible to 10 or 25 players, both having a heroic mode for certain raids since update 3.3.2; The "Achievements" system; New available interfaces (such as improved dungeon search, battlegrounds or the quest assistance system on the base map); New quest systems, such as mounting a flying mount to accomplish certain objectives or the phasing of territory (seen in the starting quests of the death knight and in the "Icecrown" zone). Some new features announced before the release of the expansion were ultimately not introduced into the game: the new dances and the pilotable flying war machines (in Wintergrasp). The Icecrown Citadel The Icecrown Citadel is the climax of the events and battles of the "Wrath of the Lich King" expansion, retracing the fight of the Horde and the Alliance against Arthas Menethil's rise to the throne. This fortress is composed of saronite walls and is protected by many servants of the Lich King. This instance is divided into 4 different parts (the Lower Spire, the Plagueworks, the Crimson Hall and the Frost Wing). In the first wing, players are faced with an army of undead whose goal is to repel all intrusions. At the head of this army is Lord Marrowgar (an assembly of bones). After defeating him, the players face the 2nd boss, Lady Deathwhisper surrounded by her acolytes. They then board a ship with their faction's leader, Saurfang on the Orgrim's Hammer for the Horde and Muradin Bronzebeard on the Skybreaker for the Alliance. The main goal is to destroy the opposing faction's ship by protecting their own cannon and destroying the enemy's. After that, the players are faced with the most powerful death knight, Saurfang the Younger (son of the Horde commander) who has been resurrected by Arthas to be his weapon master. When the players kill these 4 bosses, they arrive in an intermediate area that can lead to each of the 3 remaining wings.
