The PlayStation Portable (PSP), launched by Sony in 2004, marked a turning point in the world of portable consoles. Equipped with a 4.3-inch widescreen LCD display and a MIPS R4000 processor, it offered graphics quality close to the PlayStation 2. The PSP innovated with its proprietary disc format, the Universal Media Disc (UMD), capable of storing up to 1.8 GB of data. Its Wi-Fi connectivity enabled network gaming and internet browsing. Over the years, Sony has released several versions, including the PSP Slim & Lite (2007) and the PSP Go (2011), the latter abandoning the UMD drive in favor of internal memory. With 1700 references, the PSP offers a varied game library, including iconic titles such as Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. This versatile console has redefined the standards of portable gaming, combining games, multimedia, and connectivity in a compact format.
