Watch_Dogs 2 is the result of more than two years of development by the creative team behind the Watch_Dogs brand.

Information security related to privacy or computer hacking are more than ever current issues in our contemporary society.

The game offers players the opportunity to evolve in a fictional environment inspired by these current issues, while providing entertainment through the exploration of the San Francisco Bay area in the company of Marcus Holloway, the new hero of this opus. Players evolve in a vast and dynamic open world located in the San Francisco Bay. The city has just adopted the ctOS 2.0, a computer system connecting urban infrastructures which, if placed in the wrong hands, could be used to control and manipulate citizens.

Players explore the cradle of the technological revolution in the skin of Marcus Holloway, a gifted young hacker victim of the predictive algorithms of ctOS 2.0 which accuse him of a crime he did not commit. In his quest to bring down ctOS 2.0, hacking becomes his ultimate weapon. Players can not only hack the city's infrastructure but also all connected people and objects to trigger unpredictable chains of events. The ability to take control of drones, vehicles, cranes, security robots and more allows them to choose between a stealthy approach, using their hacking and infiltration skills to complete missions without killing a single enemy, or a more muscular approach with the use of firearms.

In this open world, players must make their way through traffic during car chases in the winding streets of San Francisco, move on the colorful roofs of Oakland, and infiltrate the well-guarded offices of Silicon Valley.
