As they progress through the ranks, they will be able to use the civil development system on a larger scale, transforming a small village into a thriving city on this occasion. Through this system, many aspects of a domain can be improved, and players will be able to choose its orientation to make it a city with a military or rather agricultural vocation.

One of the key elements of domain development is to determine its strategic orientation and develop Facilities. There are three different types: Production, Specialized and Military, each providing resources and bonuses. Production facilities provide gold, supplies, wood and iron. Specialized facilities increase the satisfaction levels of different aspects in neighboring districts. Military facilities increase the number of soldiers and provide weapons and equipment for the armies. Each facility has limited productivity and by combining them strategically, players will be able to greatly increase their production and generate many resources for their domain.

Space is also counted and after a certain time, there will be no more room to build other facilities. Clearing new land is an important way to discover new resources or buildable sites. The terrain can also be modified to offer other advantages to the domain. For example, digging an irrigation canal can improve water distribution and thus cultivate more efficiently to obtain better harvests.
