Despite the regular announcement of the death of the adventure game, there are always developers who bet on this very particular genre. Deponia, the latest creation of the Daedelic studios, opts for a cartoon and zany approach reminiscent of the humor of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett and Matt Groening, nothing less! . . The main character of this adventure is an ill-tempered individual named Rufus. Living in one of the worst corners of the garbage planet that gives the game its name, our unlikely hero is determined to tear himself away from his life of misery to live in the luxurious aerial cities. And when fate offers him the long-awaited opportunity in the form of an unconscious beauty fallen from the sky, Rufus immediately hatches a twisted plan to achieve his ends. . . But of course, nothing goes as planned...
