The game

In DEAD RISING 4, the player embodies Frank West, the shock photo reporter and hero of the first cult installment of the saga. After 16 years of absence, he returns to the city of Willamette in Colorado where a mysterious epidemic transforms people into dangerous zombies! Frank, as ordinary a man (with a few predispositions for wrestling moves nonetheless...) as the situations are extraordinary, seeks to uncover the truth behind this evil while massacring the hordes of enemies in his path with ever more improbable weapons and vehicles.

New dangers await the fearless journalist, with the appearance of the Neo Infected, freshly transformed humans into zombies and much faster than their much less fresh counterparts. The Evos, agile and cunning zombies, will also be real obstacles on the road to the final revelations.

But if the enemies are tougher, so is Frank. The reporter will now be able to access hundreds of customizable weapons, as wacky as powerful vehicles and above all an exoskeleton allowing him to become a real devastating force against the always insatiable hordes of the undead.

Between creations, destructions, story and freedom, the player will have to plunge back into the cursed city of Colorado for an adventure mixing survival, action and exploration. The crazy solo campaign is complemented by 4-player online multiplayer sessions.
