Darksiders Genesis - Nephilim Edition

For ages, the Council has maintained the balance of reality. The Horsemen are its armed forces: they are Nephilim (powerful creatures born from the unnatural union between angels and demons) who have sworn allegiance to the Council and have been endowed with immeasurable powers. However, their history is tragic: the Horsemen were ordered to use this power to eradicate their own species. A bloody battle ensued on Eden during which the Horsemen, obeying the will of the Council, massacred the Nephilim.

Still reeling from the events of Eden, War and Strife are given a new mission: the mysterious demon king Lucifer is preparing to break the balance by conferring powers to the demon masters of Hell. War and Strife must track down these demons, gather information and unravel the skein of a demonic conspiracy threatening to irreparably disrupt the balance and the very fabric of creation.

Darksiders Genesis is an action/adventure game that plunges the player into a world where they must fight their way through hordes of demons, angels and everything in between to reach and escape Hell alive using various firearms and swords. Genesis gives players a glimpse of the Darksiders world before the events of the original game, and introduces the Horseman of the Apocalypse Strife.
