Terraria is an action/adventure/platformer game that places great emphasis on exploration in a very vast environment. With a wide range of materials and objects to collect, Terraria is much more than a simple construction game, as the players' experience is limited only by their own creativity, the world is theirs, for them to create and explore as they see fit.
