Persona 5 explores the internal and external conflicts of a group of unique high school students - the protagonist and the various companions he will meet throughout the scenario - who lead a double life as Phantom Thieves. Behind the everyday life of all Tokyo high school students - studies, extracurricular activities, part-time jobs - they also live fantastic adventures using supernatural gifts to enter the hearts of others. Their power comes from the Persona, a component of the personality defined by Jung. The heroes of the game are aware that society forces us to wear a mask to protect our inner weaknesses.
