These are the Tier 1 Operators... Attached to the Air Force, Army or Marines, more than 2 million people wear the military uniform in the United States. Among them, fifty thousand soldiers are under the authority of the Special Operations Command... The Tier 1 Operators, selected from among these, are the elite, even above the highly trained Special Forces. Their number, even if it is not official, is in the order of a few hundred.
