About Dead Island:
Welcome to the island of Banoi, a tourist paradise where you are supposed to spend a dream vacation, lounging on the beach, enjoying the luxurious hotel and lush nature. Unfortunately, an unexpected and virulent epidemic turns the majority of the residents into zombies and forces you to take on a new activity: survival.

- Freely explore a vast tropical island, on foot or by car.
- Survive close-quarters combat in first-person view.
- Scavenge for parts to craft your own weapons (nearly 2,000 possible combinations).
- Develop your character's skills by completing missions for the survivors.

About Dead Island: Riptide:
The monsoon has ravaged the once peaceful archipelago, and the torrential rains have caused extensive damage to large portions of the islands.

The city of Henderson and the jungle areas of the island of Palanai have been submerged by the waters, leaving boats as the only viable means of transportation. The dynamic weather conditions will force the team members to adapt to changes in visibility.

A fifth character will join the team, with a unique set of skills. The combination of the entire group's skills is essential, as new, even more terrifying and deadly zombie mutations have appeared on the island.

In the new base defense missions, the coordination of the players' skills in cooperative mode is emphasized: they must strategically place traps and set up fences and turrets to repel the incessant zombie attacks and protect the humans who have found refuge in these sanctuaries.

New cooperative communication features have been introduced.
