Damnation

Damnation takes place in truly immense open environments and plunges the player into a stunning cocktail of frenzied combat, acrobatics at the limits of human capabilities, and breathtaking vehicle stunts. Putting players' reflexes, decision-making speed and shooting agility to the test, Damnation features exceptionally beautiful and vast landscapes that stretch for kilometers in distance and hundreds of meters in height. Damnation promises to bring a whole new vertical dimension to the shooter/action genre. The streaming landscapes are visually inspired by iconic references to American history and will be the battlegrounds of a post-industrial war between humanity and an arms dealer determined to dominate the world, no matter the cost. The player in control will have the ability to choose their own path, and will traverse the world of Damnation while performing acrobatics at the limits of human possibility. But they won't be the only one with these extraordinary physical abilities. Subtle and reactive enemies will engage in a manhunt that will lead to particularly unpredictable and intense attacks and shootouts: there is no safe place to hide in the world of Damnation. With levels that can take up to three hours to traverse from end to end, the game will test much more than the player's physical abilities. In Damnation, they will also have to use their driving skills aboard impressive vehicles: from motorcycles capable of launching into the air to cross giant chasms to massive behemoths equipped with anti-armor armaments capable of blowing up any shield. All the game's action will be supported by an epic storyline that will follow the exploits of Rourke, the game's hero. The player will find themselves immersed in an intrigue where several stories intersect, each bringing its share of revelations. Parallel to this solo experience, Damnation will also offer particularly comprehensive multiplayer modes, which will fully utilize the game's level design specifics.
