Grand Theft Auto III

The game simulates the life of a criminal freely moving around the city of Liberty City. The player has the ability to choose between several missions, or can simply walk around the city. The story itself only represents a part of the game, which never really ends. The early episodes of the series, which offered a top-down view, did not have the same impact as GTA III, which was a success from its release, even becoming one of the best-selling games of 2001. The violence and sex present in the game have been the source of controversy and have led to legal issues.
