Choplifter is an action game developed by Broderbund and adapted by SEGA for the Master System in 1986. The player pilots a rescue helicopter on perilous missions to rescue hostages. The gameplay combines elements of horizontal shoot'em up and strategic resource management. The Master System version offers improved graphics compared to the original on Apple II, while retaining the innovative concept that made the game a success.
