Xenon 2: Megablast is a vertical scrolling shoot'em up game developed by The Bitmap Brothers for the SEGA Master System. This version adapts the famous arcade shoot'em up on the SEGA 8-bit console. The player pilots a spacecraft through levels filled with enemies and obstacles. A distinctive feature of the game is its soundtrack composed by the group Bomb the Bass, providing a distinctive electronic atmosphere. The gameplay allows the player to gradually improve the ship's armament to face increasingly tough bosses.
