Star Wars (Kixx)

Star Wars is an action-adventure game released on the SEGA Master System. Published by Kixx, this version adapts the universe of the film saga to the 8-bit SEGA console. The player takes on the role of Luke Skywalker in his quest to save Princess Leia and destroy the Death Star. The game features space combat phases at the controls of the X-Wing as well as on-foot exploration sequences. The 2D graphics and soundtrack strive to recreate the atmosphere of the Star Wars license on the limited hardware of the Master System.
