Prince of Persia, developed by Brøderbund and adapted by Domark for the SEGA Master System, was released in Europe in 1990. This platforming and action game is set in a universe inspired by Persian tales. The player takes on the role of an anonymous prince who must rescue the princess, held prisoner by the vizier Jaffar.
