New Play Control!: Pikmin

Nintendo's big resolution for 2009? Allowing players to play at a reasonable price on Wii. Nintendo is thinking of players with a modest budget and is launching the first two titles of its new collection of low-cost games called NEW WAY TO PLAY!. The titles in this collection, which is intended to be enriched throughout the year, are from the Nintendo GameCube, remastered in 16/9 and now take advantage of a new action control system thanks to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Initially launched in Europe in 2002, Pikmin propels us into a world populated by surprisingly cooperative little creatures, the Pikmin, who decide to help Captain Olimar repair his spacecraft after a catastrophic landing. The NEW WAY TO PLAY! edition takes advantage of the Wii controls for a smooth and efficient mode of use. Thanks to the Wiimote, Nunchuk and the essential pointer for intuitive and strategic movements, the magic of Pikmin can now be enjoyed by a new generation of players.
