Inspired by the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, LEGO The Lord of the Rings takes the storyline followed in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, to allow players to experience the epic events sprinkled with all the humor and variety of the LEGO franchise. . . Frodo, who is entrusted with the perilous mission of finding and destroying an ancient magical ring that threatens Good, is condemned to leave his peaceful land.
