In Cursed Mountain, the player embodies Eric Simmons, an experienced mountaineer setting out to assault Chomolonzo, a sacred mountain in the Himalayas, in an attempt to uncover the sudden disappearance of his brother.. To allow the player to orient themselves and know what remains to be traversed, the entire mountain can be viewed at any time. During the ascent, the mountain itself proves hostile, Between altitude sickness and lack of oxygen, players will sometimes find themselves unable to distinguish between real enemies and mere hallucinations.. The Wii's motion sensors and vibration function are fully utilized, allowing Cursed Mountain to truly immerse the player in a terrifying experience, at the heart of the bewitching atmosphere of the Himalayas.
