You are propelled years after the adventures of Splatoon 2 and the victory of the Chaos reign; the Inklings and Octolings are resuming their lives in a new landscape, Splatsville. New stages to explore and repaint are available to you, and new protagonists are entering the game, starting with the Squid Sisters trio, Angie, Pasquale, and Raimi, the stars of Splatsville who keep you up to date on the latest news! 2 Splatoon's basics You evolve in a closed arena, with two enemy bases arranged on each side. With a simple press, your weapon projects ink that serves to both impose your color on the field, to slide into it in squid form to infiltrate the enemy territory, and above all, to liquidate your opponents! Use the directional stick or the gyroscope for aiming, reload your weapon by hiding in the ink, and unleash special attacks in the most critical moments! If you are eliminated by your opponents, and therefore out of the game for a few seconds, you restart from your base and can jump back into the battle to support your team until the end of the allotted time (around 5 minutes). Two new categories make their appearance in Splatoon 3: the Tri-Stringer, similar to a bow firing three salvos at once, and the Tacticooler, a very maneuverable and dynamic sword-like weapon to clear the area around you. Special weapons.
