Prepare for the apocalypse!
War, the first of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, is accused of having violated a sacred law by provoking a war between Heaven and Hell. In the ensuing massacre, the demonic forces defeated the celestial armies and claim the Earth.

The Sacred Council indicts him for his crimes and strips him of his powers. Dishonored and facing his own death, War has the opportunity to return to Earth to seek the truth and punish those responsible.

Haunted by a group of avenging Angels, War must draw strength from Hell, forge delicate alliances with the demons he pursues, and traverse the ravaged remnants of Earth in his quest for vengeance to restore his honor.
