The GameCube hardware represents Nintendo's technical innovation at the beginning of the 2000s. Launched in 2001, this compact console (15x15x10 cm) is distinguished by its unique cubic design and its integrated carrying handle. Its core is an IBM PowerPC "Gekko" processor at 485 MHz, coupled with an ATI "Flipper" GPU at 162 MHz, offering impressive graphics performance for the time with up to 12 million polygons per second.

A peculiarity of the GameCube is its proprietary storage medium: 1.5 GB mini-discs. The console also has a variety of accessories, including its iconic ergonomic controller with built-in vibration function. Other peripherals such as the Hori Fighting Stick for fighting games or the Logitech Speed Force Racing Wheel for racing games have enriched the gaming experience. The GameCube has 46 accessories and peripherals, ranging from memory cards to network adapters, as well as video enhancement solutions like GCVideo for HDMI compatibility.

Although its production ceased in 2007, the GameCube hardware remains appreciated by collectors for its distinctive design, technical performance, and quality of its components.
