Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)

The Famicom (ファミコン, Famikon), an abbreviation of Family Computer (ファミリーコンピューター, Famirī Konpyūtā), is a video game console created by Nintendo in 1983. In Europe, Canada and the United States, the console is completely redesigned. It adopts a new design and slightly different features. It is renamed Nintendo Entertainment System or NES. In India, the Famicom is called the Tata Famicom and in South Korea it is called the Hyundai Comboy.
