Professor Kageyama's Maths Training

Nintendo DS Games - Professor Kageyama\'s Maths Training Nintendo DS Games - Professor Kageyama\'s Maths Training
Improve your calculation with 40 simple exercises!. . - The learning method by repetition of Prof. Kageyama is coming to Nintendo DS.. . As highlighted by the latest OECD survey on the knowledge and skills of 15-year-old students, Japanese students are among the best in science: they are 3rd in the world when the French only reach 19th place. They also excel in mathematics, taking 6th place when the French are 17th. This good result of the Japanese is undoubtedly partly due to the teaching methods. Among these, the "learning method by repetition" developed by Hideo Kageyama, a teacher member of the Japanese Central Education Committee. He has, among other things, demonstrated that simple mathematical exercises performed regularly can improve learning abilities.. . Hideo Kageyama is the vice-principal of a Japanese school and a recognized specialist in Japanese school education: his "learning by repetition" method, tested on 3,700 students, is used in all Japanese schools. It has been declined in professional works and general public books. It is based on both a good lifestyle and three main learning principles.. . The first is to articulate clearly and fluently. The second is to learn to calculate quickly by regularly performing simple math exercises. Among these exercises, there is the 100-box method developed by the Professor. The third, finally, is to learn kanji (Japanese characters) and new words by writing them repeatedly. It is the "mathematical" part of this method that can be performed on Nintendo DS.. . With the 100-box method, users simply have to fill in a 10x10 grid as quickly as possible by adding, subtracting or multiplying the numbers at the top of the grid and those on the left side. Holding the Nintendo DS like a book, they write their answers as quickly and as best they can on the touch screen with the stylus. The console then immediately indicates whether the answers are correct, no need to finish an exercise before getting the correction. The console thus makes the training more rhythmic and more motivating. Finally, the method allows everyone - regardless of their level in math - to train, as it offers exercises with one digit and more complex problems with three digits.. . The Daily Lesson mode allows users to perform three different exercises that are renewed when they change levels. After each session, once the exercises are completed, users receive a mark on the game calendar, and when they have 5, they progress to the next level! Finally, depending on their speed and success in the exercises, the software gives users...
