Disney Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion

Disney Epic Mickey: The Return of the Heroes offers players the opportunity to play as Mickey, but also, for the first time, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's first animated hero. Mickey and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit are back in Wasteland, a parallel world resembling an amusement park populated by forgotten Disney characters. For the first time, Mickey and Oswald will join forces to become true partners: Mickey armed with his magic paintbrush that allows him to wield paint and thinner, Oswald equipped with his powerful remote control with which he can control electricity. This partnership gives rise to a cooperative mode that reinforces the 'PlayStyle Matters' concept created by Warren Spector, where players face different challenges in their own way and must then face the consequences of their choices. Faithful to Disney's musical heritage, the game is the first video game to incorporate elements specific to musicals. Throughout the adventure and at different moments in the plot, the characters will express themselves in song, with lyrics and music composed for the game. Paying tribute to the classic Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse released on the Sega Megadrive console, Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion focuses on the legendary Castle of Illusion, which finds itself in the world of Wasteland, the universe of Disney's forgotten characters. The infamous witch Mizrabel, from the classic Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, is propelled into the world of Wasteland and devises a scheme that would allow her to escape while capturing the essence of famous current animated characters. Players will take on the role of Mickey Mouse and use his magic paintbrush to confront Mizrabel and save the characters.
