Finally, here are your favorite Pokémon in 3D. And what 3D, since with 60 frames per second the graphics are breathtaking. Thanks to the Transfer Pak, you will be able to exchange your monsters from your GameBoy and insert them into the N64 in order to see them fight in the arenas.
If you're tired of making your Pokémon fight via the link cable or simply by playing solo on your Game Boy Color, Nintendo has thought of you. From now on, you can relive these battles on Nintendo 64 as long as you have at least one of the three versions of Pokémon released to date on the small portable. Via the Transfer Pak, an accessory supplied with the game cartridge, you can download all the characteristics of your beloved little creatures onto your home console. Thus, they will be able to participate in the various tournaments organized within the Colosseum, a place so prized for its frenzied jousts. Choose your team of six Pokémon from those you have won (or by borrowing some) and go challenge the greatest trainers in order to take their badge and win the various cups at stake. With refined and very colorful graphics, fans will finally have the opportunity to admire their Pokémon in 3D and contemplate them, open-mouthed, as they perform their extraordinary attacks. In addition, it is possible, between two battles, to indulge in some nice mini-games featuring the most famous Pokémon, to exchange Pokémon with friends using a second Transfer Pak and to unlock a secret option in the yellow version. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to meet Professor Chen in his laboratory and listen to his wise advice. What more could you ask for?
