The Outer Worlds

Highlights:
- A player-driven RPG: In keeping with Obsidian's tradition, you are the only one to decide how to approach The Outer Worlds. Your choices will not only affect the way the story unfolds, but also the development of your character, the stories of your companions, and the different possible endings.

- Your flaws can become strengths: One of the new mechanics of The Outer Worlds is the introduction of flaws. Flaws, as much as qualities, forge a accomplished hero. As you play The Outer Worlds, the game will analyze your experience to detect what your strengths are. You keep getting attacked by Raptidons? Take the Raptiphobia flaw which will give you a penalty in confrontations with these vicious creatures, but will immediately grant you an additional character ability in return. This optional approach to the game will help you create the character you want during your exploration of Halcyon.

- Lead your companions: During your journey in the most remote colony, you will meet a whole range of characters who will want to join your team. Endowed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations and ideals. It's up to you to choose whether you help them accomplish their goals, or if you prefer to use them for your own purposes.

- Explore the colony: Halcyon is a colony located at the edge of the galaxy, owned and run by a set of corporations. These control everything... except the monstrous aliens they left behind when the biospheric terraformation of the two colony planets did not go exactly as planned.
