Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition

Sauron has returned, and no mortal being can stand in his way. The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition invites players to take on the role of Talion, a Gondorian Ranger of the Black Gate who is killed along with his family on the night of Sauron's return to Mordor. Resurrected from the dead and inextricably bound to a Wraith Spirit, Talion embarks on a quest for vengeance and discovery to understand why he has been denied the peace of death. Players will have to unravel the mystery behind the spirit that enslaves him, uncover the origins of the Rings of Power, and confront their ultimate sworn enemy. The game introduces the Nemesis System, through which every enemy encountered in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition is procedurally generated and unique to each player. Unique are the appearance of an enemy, their personality type, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as the distinct enemy missions. Players will be led to use the spectral powers to manipulate and corrupt the will of their Uruk enemies and thus gain the power to raise their own army to face Sauron's forces on the battlefield on equal terms.
