Mafia III

The action of Mafia III takes place in 1968 in a reinvented New Orleans, during one of the most tumultuous years in US history. This version of New Orleans, in full effervescence, highlights the cars, but also the fashion and music inspired by that era. During this troubled period, a cloud of corruption hovers in the air and the city has become a refuge for organized crime. The Italian mafia controls illegal gambling, drugs and prostitution. Meanwhile, the police and politicians are lining their pockets thanks to these activities.

Mafia III follows the story of Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam veteran deprived of his rights, returning from combat, in search of a roof and a family. Orphaned since childhood, Lincoln finally realizes a semblance of his dreams thanks to the African-American mafia, finding the brothers and the surrogate father he had long sought. But when Lincoln's new family is betrayed and gunned down by the Italian mafia, he becomes obsessed with a spirit of revenge. He then wages a brutal war against the Italians, disrupting the balance of power in the sordid underworld of New Orleans. Throughout the story, Lincoln allies with other criminals, builds an empire and forms a new family that will transform the city.
