Set in the dark, sordid and violent side of 1940s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire tells the story of Cole Phelps, a decorated veteran who has recently become a police detective, and must solve an increasingly dramatic series of investigations inspired by real events. Each solved investigation earns Phelps greater recognition, but also brings him closer to the heart of post-war Los Angeles crime. L.A.
