Vanquish

The story of Vanquish takes place in the near future where the scarcity of natural resources is the cause of a conflict between Russia and the United States. To make up for this shortage, the latter have launched the construction of an orbital station to exploit solar energy. By seizing this station, the Russian forces have managed to divert this solar energy to San Francisco, causing its destruction. They intend to force the Americans to surrender unconditionally. Faced with this threat, the United States calls on the army to regain control of the space station before the Russians reduce their next target, New York, to nothing. - Directed by Shinji Mikami, the famous creator of the Resident Evil series, Vanquish is a futuristic action game.
