You will not embody a soldier, but one named Danny, a simple American citizen. At the precise moment when the Germans launch the assault on New York, Danny is working on the construction site of a skyscraper in downtown Manhattan. On his scaffolding overlooking the entire bay, he witnesses the first wave of the invasion in real-time. While the naval battle is already raging, another front opens up through the air. Assault zeppelins scatter paratroopers across the city while aircraft bomb New York, which sinks into total chaos. The United States is on the brink of disaster. Severely lacking in men and weapons, a large-scale counterattack is simply impossible.
