Five years ago, Carl Johnson left behind his grim life in Los Santos, San Andreas, a city torn apart by gangs, drugs and corruption. A city where even movie stars and millionaires do everything to avoid dealers and criminals...

Early 90s. Carl has to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family is now broken and his childhood friends are heading straight for the wall. As he returns to the neighborhood, he is the victim of a setup and accused of homicide by two corrupt cops. Against his will, Carl embarks on an adventure that will take him to all corners of the state of San Andreas in an attempt to save his family and take control of the streets.
