Gears of War 2

Gears of War 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the third-person tactical action game. Gears of War 2 picks up six months after the events of Gears of War and plunges you into a poignant and intense story where humanity is fighting fiercely against the Locust Horde, a horrible race of creatures emerging from the bowels of the planet. You thought you had won the war? Big mistake! The Locusts are still legion and your little bomb has simply given humanity time to reorganize... but the hardest part is yet to come. Marcus Fenix, Dom, Cole and Baird are back on duty, joined by several recruits. On the gameplay side, there are plenty of new features, from the chainsaw duel to the ability to use enemies as shields, not to mention the flamethrower or multiple vehicles to pilot. New opponents are obviously making their appearance, but above all, the game engine is now capable of displaying a plethora of soldiers. While it is still possible to do the campaign in two, a new cooperative mode is emerging: Horde pits five friends against increasingly powerful waves of Locust. Multiplayer allows up to ten participants to compete according to three additional combat rules. Guardian is a variant of Assassination where you survive the death of your leader, Wingman opposes 5 teams of duos, and Submission offers a capture the flag where the flag is a soldier.
